HA! Saw the livestream posted (already over), and thought I'd watch. Saw you talking, didn't hear audio. Restarted my RodeCaster, it wouldn't turn back on, had to disconnect everything, etc, etc. As I'm trying to get it turn back on, your voice starts playing over my Mac Studio's internal speaker. It wasn't my mixer at all. LOL. (It did finally come back up, but yeah, technology keeps us on our toes.) We should collaborate on something soon, my friend. Miss talking to you.

You are stronger than you know. I shared custody with my son's father who lived on the opposite coast so I dealt with my boys, one year apart, leaving every summer. The "they are adults" part took leaning on my faith that I did my job as a parent.

Working night shifts can be challenging. I did it for 14 years in a factory on night shift, and then when the crash came, I lost my job. I had a few tough years financially, but I used that time to train myself in technology and start my own business, which I love. Best of luck with the night work!

Best of luck in the new job! I'm with you on this-I had a similar experience in my last job, working night shifts at a factory for 14 years before I got into tech. I hated training days, especially when people asked the same question that had been asked ten times already. I never understood why training that should have taken 2 hours stretched over 8 hours.

Looking at the TikTok ban from Ireland, it's quite surprising. I would say there's more fake news on Facebook, and Facebook has caused more issues worldwide.

Regarding that last story: It's tricky. You gotta know the law where you live, and maybe even whether there's a local prosecutor with an agenda. I've had two situations where I made the choice to intervene. Both situations were defused without any violence and both turned into relatively small matters. In both cases I was ready to step in because I had a connection to the people involved. One in particular I was working on computers at a customer's office, when a man walked in off the street and started threatening the secretary (while my wife was sitting in the lobby waiting on me, btw). The office manager came around one corner and I came around the other, both of us loaded for bear. Mr tough guy decided he better quit making threats, and start getting out of there. My guiding principle in whether to step in is a simple test: Am I willing to go to jail to stop whatever is happening? I'm gonna do my best to stay within the law, but taking drastic action carries that wort of weight, and it's a real possibility. It puts random dumb stuff in perspective.

Great help! I am trying to upscale old video from 240P to 1080P, and so far has not worked. One of the biggest problems is getting the fps upscaled from 25fps to closer to 60. CAn you advise how to do it manually, as Premiere does not do it.

Also works with recorded video game plays with anti-aliasing off?

Waste of time! The issue with UA-cam banners is sizing, not image creation and tuning. How does one get UA-cam to accept an image for a banner without an error message. You did not show us how to do that.
